To know people of the abundance of knowledge of Sheikh of Islam Ahmad ibn Abdul-Halim ibn Abdul-Salam ibn Taimiya, may Allah have mercy on him, and his defense of the noble self and his pure Shariah, with speech and writing; people continuously came to him from the cities to ask for his fatwa on what the people of sects spread of misguidance, and they asked him about the truth in that.
He explained it to them in gatherings and assemblies, and among those who asked him to write for them the content of what they heard from him in some gatherings about Tawhid and attributes, and in Shariah and fate: the people of Tadmur.
He answered them due to the necessity of verifying these two principles and the frequent disturbance in them; his answer became famous under the name of the land of the questioners: "Tadmuriya; verification of the affirmation of names and attributes, and the true gathering between fate and Shariah."
It became a fundamental in its chapter, and a main reference for its students.
It contains comprehensive rules and beneficial chapters, and due to its importance and status among scholars and students of knowledge, I worked on its verification from five handwritten copies, selected from more than twenty copies.
Features of this verification:
1- It is verified on five handwritten copies, including two copies written during the lifetime of the author, one of which has annotations in his handwriting, and another copy read on Ibn Abi al-Izz al-Hanafi.
2- Clarification of the differences between the copies, their interpretation, and the preference among them, from other sources such as language books and others.
3- Explanation of strange words, and identification of sects, groups, places, and countries mentioned in the book, and converting distances into contemporary calculations.
4- Clarification of the meanings of logical, foundational, and prophetic terms mentioned by the author.
5- Extracting the Hadiths and sayings referred to by the author from their sources.
6- Attributing the sayings transferred by the author, and translating the mentioned scholars.
7- Clarifying what may be hidden from understanding, and transferring what clarifies this from the words of scholars.
8- Adding side titles to the book for easy understanding and organization.
9- Highlighting the chapter titles and their importance in red.
For the verification, two copies:
a- The footnotes copy: which contains the footnotes of the verification, including differences between copies, their interpretation, and comments on what needs comment.
b- The preservation copy: which is a copy free from all footnotes recorded in the first copy, and it is more suitable for memorization.
The main text is recorded and will be published via the link; audio and visual.
